Product details

The irrigation pressure test kit allows an accurate test of the pressures and flows available for irrigation. It is especially useful when checking whether an outside garden tap will have sufficient pressure and flow to operate an irrigation system to water the garden.

Knowing systems flows and pressure is vitally important for irrigation systems run directly off the mains water supply. With any water supply such as an outside tap, the available pressure will fall as the flow increases. The water company will often provide a pressure reading at no flow – this is the maximum pressure available but when there is no flow of water. As irrigation systems and garden watering kits often have high water flows, the pressure available at a given flow is needed.

The irrigation pressure test kit from Access allows the landscaper of the house owner to find out the available pressure at a variety of water flows. The kit comes with instructions on how to measure and record the pressure and the flow of the tap from fully closed to fully open.

The pressure test kit can also be used to evaluate the available flow from irrigation pumps.

Pressure test kit fits to standard outside garden taps. In a garden the tap is a 1/2″ outside tap, which has a 3/4″ male thread on the outlet.

The pressure test kit has a 3/4″ BSPF inlet and 3/4″ BSPM outlet.
