The Lowara Genyo Pump Starter is designed to start and stop irrigation pumps by sensing a pressure drop in the irrigation pipe. When the irrigation controller opens a solenoid valve, the Genyo unit detects a drop in pressure and turns the pump on. Once the last valve of the irrigation cycle has closed, the pressure in the system will rise and the Genyo unit will turn the pump off.

The Genyo unit is also ideal for hand watering situations when the tap is turned on and off, the pump will be started and stopped automatically, providing pressure and flow as needed.

The Lowara Genyo Pump Starter is controlled by an electronic circuit and is composed of a diaphragm and counteracting spring system, enabling the automatic control of pump start-up and shutdown based on actual water demand, preventing any pressure fluctuations at the delivery points. The start pressure is adjustable.
