The Travelling Sprinkler Pitch Watering Package is designed for smaller clubs or school football and rugby pitch watering, and will water the entire sports pitch in three passes over three nights.

The Club packages keeps costs affordable by reducing the sprinkler size and therefore the pipe, pump and tank size. The pitch is watered in 3 passes.

This complete package includes the Rain-King travelling sprinkler, the water storage tank with integral pump and the underground pipework to the pitch. The package will allow 1.4mm of water to be added to 68m x 110m pitch in a 3 day period.

• Rega travelling sprinkler with low output nozzle
• Heavy duty hose trolley and 100m tricoflex hose
• Hydrant box and 50m underground pipe
• 1,250 litre water storage tank with air gap with integral pump

How much water does a sports pitch need?
A grass football or rugby pitch will loose 3mm of water per day on a hot Summer day. On a 68m x 110m pitch, this is the equivalent of 22,440 litres per day. However, even in the Summer there will normally be some rainfall (1.7mm per day on average between May and Aug), so the nett water requirement for an average Summer would be 1.3mm per day.

This watering package will provide enough water for the pitch to top up the pitch watering, providing the equivalent of 1.4mm of water per day.

System requirements
The Travelling Sprinkler Pitch Watering for Clubs requires a mains water supply of at least 800 litres per hour and a single phase power supply. A concrete base needs to be made for the tank and the pump needs to be protected from the weather.

Price includes delivery but remote areas may be extra.
