The T-tape for tunnels watering kit is a great way to get started watering your polythene tunnel. T-tape is a great way to water root grown crops in tunnels and glasshouses, such as cut flower production, tomatoes and peppers. The T-tape is highly efficient and gets water right to the root zone, reducing weed and disease problems.

T-tape has the advantage that the soil is kept dry, with just a narrow band of water directly to the root zone, so there is less evaporation or weed growth.  T-tape is very economical and can be operated from the mains. A battery operated tap timer can also be added to the system to allow fully automated watering.

Large kit – 1350m of T-tape, 50 entry adaptors for tape runs, fittings to create up to 10 separate header runs, 100m of 20mm pipe to create the row headers and link pipe, starter pack with filter and pressure regulator, 4mm punch pliers, instructions.
