Green Roof Packages

Green Roof irrigation packages are designed to water green roof installations on commercial office buildings, warehouses and schools.

Extensive green roofs using sedum blankets are a popular method of disguising office, school and warehouse buildings and also provide an area for wildlife such as birds and butterflies to thrive, away from humans. Green roof systems also attenuate rainwater, slowing the rate at which heavy rainfall enters the drainage system.

Sedum blankets are very thin and light, so dry out quickly. Although Sedums are drought tolerant, they will suffer during dry spells. If the blanket becomes very dry, it may also lift off the roof in strong winds. An automated watering system will water the roof regularly, ensuring the planting on the matting thrives.

Packages include everything you need to install a system including a break tank to comply with the Water Regulations, a controller for automated watering and pressure compensated dripline for the roof.
