Product details

Permadrip Ultra features a low output of just 0.85 l/h and an integrated patented Root Protection Band, making it ideal for sub-surface irrigation. It is perfectly suited to invisible watering in planted beds or beneath lawn areas. The low flow rate allows dripline runs of up to 50% greater length, ideal for long hedge installations. In sandy soils and narrow beds, run spacing can be reduced to as little as 30 cm without increasing overall water consumption. Ideal for:

  • Sandy soils where a closer dripline spacing is required
  • Sub surface irrigation on lawns or borders
  • Ultra long pipe runs

The Root Protection Band is a proven solution designed to prevent root intrusion. By releasing a root-inhibiting agent directly from the dripline, it delivers reliable performance over many years. Permadrip Ultra is especially suitable for permanent installations, including hedge planting.

  • 0.30m spacing for very even water distribution down the line
  • Bury between 20cm and 60cm beneath the soil surface depending on the application
  • Allows invisible watering of flower beds

Technical Spec:

  • 16mm diameter brown dripline 1.15mm wall thickness

4.0 bar 289 m 820 l/h

Water Regulations require back flow prevention with drip irrigation – check with your local Water Company or purchase a category 5 break tank. Sub surface irrigation is not suitable for high traffic areas due to possible soil compaction and crushing of the dripline. For control a Hunter Hydrawise controller with optional flow meter is recommended to alert to any unusual high flow situations.

Dripline use is normally allowed during a hosepipe ban if the system is operated with a timer – check with you local water provider.

Note: To distinguish the dripline from the standard dripline, the product has a blue stripe on the pipe. All images are for illustrative purposes only.
