3/4″ (19mm) Tricoflex professional quality yellow hose. Top quality multi-layer heavy duty Tricoflex hose provides flexibility and durability, with built-in kink resistance. Manufactured by Tricoflex in the Champagne region of France, Tricoflex is widely used as a professional-quality hose in commercial horticulture, including garden centres, nurseries, market gardens, farms and vegetable-growing businesses. The 19mm Tricoflex hose uses the company’s Non-torsion technology for superior performance.

Tricoflex hose construction

Tricoflex has a multi-layer construction incorporating woven polyester reinforcement and a smooth two-layer inner core. This makes the hose highly flexible and easy to handle, while providing excellent resistance to repeated bending, crushing and pulling. The smooth internal lining helps maintain an even water flow, while the yellow PVC outer covering protects the hose against abrasion and UV exposure.

This results in greatly reduced pressure losses on longer runs. 19mm (3/4″) hose is the standard size hose used in commercial horticulture. Always check that the hose-tail diameter is 19mm, as fittings intended for standard 12.5mm garden hose will not fit correctly.

If Hozelock / Gardena type snap connectors are needed, there is a Quick connector for 3/4″ hose, but the quick connector design does restrict the flow of the hose.
